Did you ever watch the replay of Cosmo Bulk winning the Singapore Airlines Internationa Cup? Nice field with Vroom Vroom and Bowman's Crossing (RIP good boys), some outstanding locals (War Horn, King and King), etc. "The pride of Japan, Cosmo Bulk!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adK2x...eature=related Anyway, I honestly can't see him being the favorite here.... I'd think he'd be at huge odds. He and Shadow Gate were fantastic in their day, but... Now Buena Vista... that little girl should be the favorite. No pick yet but she should hit the board anyway. |

I know nutting! I don't use PPs in US races so I certainly CAN'T here. I like Air Shady on name alone. I watched the video and Cosmo "inherited" that win, but he is a fine specimen and I hope he is ITM. Hope you and everyone else on the I'ntl Scene are enjoying the Holiday Season.

Chuckles... well he wasn't (in the money) but I never care where he ends up! I'm hearing he won't be retired after all. Confused!
Wanna share why you like that name? Happy holidays to you and to you Jaripeo! Nice to see you my friend. You will be around more (and for Dubai), right? Chuckles you have to play the Dubai contest with us. I always get my ass handed to me but it's a lot of fun! Okay well here's the replay... Looking forward to Dubai. Is the track totally finished yet? On the Air Shady thing, that is very complicated. Maybe one day I could try and explain it.

Barrier draw, the February Stakes...
http://japanracing.jp/_news2010/100219.html edit - I'm not seeing Espoir City being a complete lock here... Success Brocken for the win and good luck to Reach the Crown (could hit the board), to my hopeless cases Super Hornet and Wild Wonder (no chance) and to Laurel Guerreiro who will be at huge odds and who could possibly get up for 3rd or 4th (well I think so). Success Brocken / Espoir City and Reach the Crown, either order / Laurel Guerreiro Last edited by my miss storm cat : 02-20-2010 at 08:02 PM. |

Where is BlumenBlatt??? Then again it may come down to pom poms or ribbons and beads.... |

Buena Vista, Espoir City and Success Brocken to Dubai too!!!
Next big race? Well the Nakayama Kinen and Hankyu Hai are both this coming weekend but they're only G2 and 3 so I guess not worthy as far as TVG is concerned. Really don't know but I'd assume the next race that we get to see live would be the Takamatsunomiya Kinen (end of March). Green Birdie runs in the Gold Cup this weekend (HK) and of course Sacred Kingdom just won so it'll be great to see if they both go (oh and Ultra Boy too). Remember the Four Geldings of the Apocalypse? True it wasn't for this race (the Yasuda Kinen) but who could evah forget... (Scroll down) http://japanracing.jp/_news2007/070525.html And yes i will continue to interject Hong Kong into this thread, thank you very much. |
