Default 4/22: Aqueduct (6th-9th)

Failed to respect tenacity of Dr. W in Wednesday's excellent state bred stake feature and paid the price on the P4 when Parra-Asmussen tigercat came back on Mr. Fantasy to win. Took some solace and profit on crazy 7-1 overlay on nightcap winner Gata Parra. Hope you did OK. Keeneland P6 carry reached $100k, but it seems foolhardy to chase it. Gave a glance at today's Big A quad though...

Those that didn't see it live should watch the replay later of an extremely impressive performance by Rule by Night in the 3rd. (And I don't say this just because Lloydobler was 2nd to him in their debuts). Took over before the turn on his own and then brusquely dismissed the even money Pletcher choice Triple A. Rating. 1:10.3 and anxious to see the figs come back. Woody Stephens entrant I'd imagine.

Nobody saw the 3rd? 89 Beyer for Rule by Night.

Some day for Edgar too. Even managed to get that 7th race winner in...

Lloyd Dobbler is OK but he wasn't complimented by today's race. Apples and oranges.

I still need Lloyd to run back and prove he wasn't carried by the track last out. Ideally, as well, he'll be allowed to come off the pace.

Thought that was a really nice performance...

I was surprised to see him drift all the way up to 2:1 after opening at even money. He was a much closer price to Tripple A in the double pool than win pool as well.
