Unfortunately, he isn't kidding. It is the woman who replaced Star Jones (can't remember her name).
I mean....that's pretty bad. Thinking the world might be flat is only one step above Nascar1966's level of stupidity. |

But the respect because he's the president quip is comical, based on all the crack/jokes made about the prior administration. The last guy that was the president was an absolute punching bag and unjustly didn't get the respect that he deserved as commander an chief.

I don't like Nascar1966's statement, but not because it was about the president. If he had said it about the Secretary of State, or the White House janitor, or the previous president, or Lebron James.....same deal. |

Yeah, a tradition that only 12 presidents in the last century have skipped. Reagan didn't go. Did he also have NO respect for the American people?

He respects some of the people, just not the taxpayers.

joey why do you think bush was stupid / incompetent .....is that because the media portrayed him that way? 9/11 happened and we responded with swift action that has kept the enemy on the run since that date, obama has done a good job on this as well i really don't see how obama is any smarter or dumber than bush , he hasn't really been a messiah that the media has portrayed him to be bush could have done more pre 9/11 to disrupte al queda , but when they asked clinton right after 9/11 his immediate response was that it was osama bin laden and he know it right away , my question to u is why didn't clinton do more to disrupte al queda from '95 on besides lobbing a few missles at him once? the other thing nobody talks about is that the stock market collapsed and we had a mild recession right after clinton left office , he didn't exactly leave things as rosy as the media portrayed for bush |

It wouldn't surprise me if Bush is smarter than Obama. Not at all.
Teleprompter aside, what makes you guys think he's so "brilliant"? He never even gets a hard question -- with everything as scripted as it is in the few press conferences he has given. Whatever charisma he allegedly has is not reaching me, at all. |
