Charlene??

I see you've been practicing your name calling.

You probably cannot understand this, being one yourself, but idiots have such a draining effect on me. It's brutal. What's worse is that some of these idiots I've had to deal with lately think they are smart, and some even think they are getting over on us non idiots!

Had a customer come in on Friday, for instance. Cool enough guy. He comes in explaining his desktop computer won't fire up.

The most noticeably obvious thing is that it looks like the side panel has been kicked.

We open it up and pull out the hard drive and the useless modem. Right away we notice two capacitors are missing from the motherboard and that the north bridge has been attacked. A short time later we discover the IDE cable going from the main board to the hard drive has been the victim of a scissor attack.

We tell him that his computer has been sabotaged, to which he says that his employee has been complaing about how slow this computer is and that he wants a new computer to use at work!

While he can see the damage himself, once we point it out to him, he's still in a bit of disbelief that his employee (a family member no less!) would do this.

He asks if it's possible for the capacitors to spontaneously come off if the computer is dropped. We show him on another board how much it takes to get one to pop off, but he still can't believe it (sorta). Finally, we point out to him that if they did come loose, where are they now? Why aren't they in the case.

So, he goes back to work. I call him with an update on the fixes, which, by the way, now includes a hard drive that has been thrown as hard as possible against a solid object. He said that he looked in the trash can at the desk where the computer was, and sure as shid, there are the capacitors!

The employee is not only stupid enough to sabotage his own computer because it's slow, even though it had relatively fast guts, he was moronic enough to throw the parts away a mere 3 feet away from the scene of the crime!

The kicker is, he had previously asked a friend of the boss how to best sabotage his computer so that he could get a new one!

Those are the kind of retards I deal with at work.

And here right after every Zenyatta race.
