Stop deflecting. For better than two years you have been coming on here after every Mineshaft, Bernardini, or AP Indy wins and looks impressive, specifically during the spring and crafted campaigns for them. Then, when someone offers a differing opinion you get really defensive. Read back through this whole thread.

McLaughlin says there are no definitive plans for Darley Stable’s 3-year-old Crossbow, who was scratched after drawing the rail in the Hutcheson Stakes (gr. II), the race that preceded the Fountain of Youth.

“We were originally thinking of running him (March 5) in the Gotham (Ggr. III) at Aqueduct,” McLaughlin said. “But now it looks like we’ll look at all options.”

Give it up already! I'm starting to think that you sleep with a crossbow next to your bed or something.

Considering how many thought McLaughlin was making the right decision by aiming the horse for the Gotham, I thought they might be interested that he has changed his mind. If you have a problem with that, too bad - put me on ignore.

People thought scratching out of the Hutcheson was the right move. He said he was pointing to the Gotham, so it was suggested that race was a better alternative, but it was scratching out of a race he had zero chance in that was applauded.

Considering you have a life sized mold of Bernardini's cock under your bed, I'll take it for what it is.

I think people were agreeing more with the plethora of reasons to scratch the horse rather than siding with the decision to send him definitively to the Gotham.

I recently changed my avatar, Indian Charlie. I used to have a picture of an ogre type creature.

I often unashamedly post my longshot pics, several times per week, if not much more

The problem now is you may start to notice my posts, and be influenced by my errant handicapping

Where's the Like button!

I went to Blaine,Tenn. about 13 years ago; was arrested within an hour and spent two days in jail. Returned a decade later and was followed for about half an hour on a mountainous backroad by the cops (my Vermont license plate probaly didn't help my cause)

Hey, thanks for the "heads-up" on #6 in the 1st on SAT

I'm still recuperating somewhat from this weekend - A Great day of racing - equal to a Breeders Cup event in my mind - and I had the chance to see my Knicks beat the Heat last night!!

Achaemenes made my day at FOY 2011- he looked great in the pre-race warmups - like he was "jumping out of his skin" to run - you had to be blind not to bet him - and I made enough on the race to coast the remainder of the day
