Can't they just call it dirt?, or do they always have to be different in Kalifornia.

I guess Reba Is Top's retirement was only for a couple of weeks.

The old 5 horse Grade 1 in Cali. Just close the place.

At least 3 of the 5 are Grade 1 winners (on paper anyways).
Plus, this is a big field for May Day Rose. She won her graded stakes in a 3-horse field. Rounding out the field is Kilograeme, who upset Rumor (conspicuously absent here) in her last start. Rumor once scratched out of a race against colts. |

As much as I hated Square Eddie in the Donn, I think he actually has a shot in here.

Scarface wins the Kilroe and, while I'm rooting for Quindici Man (oh shut up I'm not braindead. I know he has no shot poor guy) in the Big Cap (and I know how good Twirling Candy is, don't get me wrong) I think Aggie Engineer is gonna be sneaky good here.

Everyone is getting off Jeranimo because of his last, just as they were annointing him a turf "freak" after pummeling The Usual QT in the San Gabriel. Seems like he'll be a square number relative to the other two main contenders, Caracortado and Fluke.

Shouldn't you be working on your Twirling Candy disclaimers? "he beat this , he beat that" I have a feeling Sadler whispered into Mr. Wygod's ear to pony up 5 mil. Hey he can always go back to the claim box if he is wrong?

And yes, I do have the high ground on this one. Twirling Candy is facing absolute filth Saturday. So if he wins, we probably will learning nothing more than we already know about him. And yet, something tells me that if First Dude does his job (perhaps ironically with an assist from Gladding), he will leave the great Twirling Candy vulnerable to some Wagon Limit wannabe like Spurrier or Setsuko. |

I would have made TC 8-5 ML and almost everyone else a bit lower.
