Default Jockey Pre-Race Interviews Allowed

http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-raci...-to-be-allowed

Can't blame John Veitch for trying to argue against it, but there's gonna be pre-race interviews allowed at the BC again this year. How much is it gonna take to get John Velazquez to do one? Will Todd forbid it?

The Breeders Cup Committee has already assigned someone to monitor all television coverage, so what happened last year won't happen again this year (they won't be embarrassed as hell again)

Frankly, I think these pre-race interviews are stupid and intrusive and woefully inappropriately timed. It's like asking track athletes as they are walking to the blocks what they think of the race they are about to run. It's stupid.

*snort* You mean your world hasn't been rocked by them asking a jockey where he hopes to be in a race when we all know the horse in question prefers to be just off the lead and the commentators have already talked about it when they handicapped the race earlier in the telecast?
