I'm guessing with the Jets seconday, that they will be able to use somebody as a shadow on Tebow. Joey or Hoss would probably have a better grasp on that then me. But I honestly don't think Tebow's their biggest problem. They need to get the offense back on track. If they are able to get that going, I can't see Denver being able to stay with them.

I don't care how he got there.
If not his play than what? His intangibles, maybe. Both Decker and Miller were on espn yesterday saying the same things, the guy brings the team up and isnt scared to put it on his own back when need be.
Re: Ponder...I will take 2-8 62tds and a TD (plus one rushing) over 16-38 160 and an INT every day.
You all don't like him (as a QB anyway, I give everyone credit for speaking to his person and work ethics) but this town has really jumped on board and it has been fun. I hope they keep winning.
So he has great intangibles? That is what you're going to hang your hat on?

I haven't seen this kind of irrational fandom since...well, Zenyatta. The results aren't completely different. Take the rose colored glasses off. You beat either terrible teams or a team whose QB was on his couch less than 2 weeks before he was rushed to the field. When you played a halfway decent team, you got smoked. Beaten so bad, John Fox wouldn't even commit Tebow as the QB rest of the season, just week by week. Now, because you beat the Chiefs, all of that is forgotten?

Just remember to come on back and update us on how the town feels at the end of the season.

Tebow is to an elite NFL QB as a 5k Claimer is to Zenyetta

9 men in the box and man to man on the wideouts. Denver wouldn't get a first down.

You can coach almost everything in football, everything except speed and leadership can be learned or taught. You play the team in front of you. Regarding the Lions, that pocket passing game plan was doomed from the start against their pass rush. I do not think they would have won running the offense they are now either, don't get me wrong, but some ball control and ground game probably would have helped against their splits (and total lack of recognition ability).
As far as my play referred to above, I no longer play anything at the highest levels so I haven't been "smoked" since I was 20 years old.
The town at the end of the season will be basking in sunshine at Vail or Breckenridge and looking back on a season that turned out better than expected...already has.

Seriously Joe..how can you take Denver? The Jets were EMBARRASSED Sun night and will be ready to roll. The Jets will put 8 on the line and dare Tebow to beat their corners, which he can't do. I think Jets by at least 14.

Because it is the NFL. Games like this are the reason I quit gambling on the NFL two decades ago. Looks like a complete no brainer, but there have been bigger upsets vs the line in the past....

The lines not 4 either. Its up to 6.5 some places. It feels like the Jets are 2 obvious, I like being on the other side.

I figured there's no way NY $$ would let that game go off at 4. And I get the "too obvious" part..and if it was anyone BUT Tebow...even Orton, I would strongly consider Home dog, but...

Probably get solid odds from someone giving 14, especially with their offense.

Fortunately, what I "think" about a game and how I bet a game are two seperate processes

I often have the same issue. Generally backfires. Though I was able to tease Va Tech -4.5 and Over 34 Jets Broncs. Could've had Jets PK but I cannot root for them as I am going to the game.

you just missed shannon sharpe explain that mark sanchez (14-17 so far) inaccuracy is the problem with the jets offense.

highlights shown included 2 of his 3 missed passes.
