![]() Well, not exactly. But an interesting idea - Twinspires is offering a rebate of 17.65%, up to 500.00 per day, on winning horizontal wagers to offset the 15% takeout.
This is they type of forward thinking that is so desperately needed to keep the player enticed. I'd never so much as look at Hastings, but plan on playing this meeting now. |

![]() Totally agree.
It's effortless to beat a 0% pick 3 over a long haul ... I'm sure Hastings is banking on hoping people will make some flat and exotic bets on their races if they handicap them. |

![]() 15% takeout is already lower than 95% of the tracks in north america. I hope california tracks are taking notes.

![]() If anything, Hollywood increased thier takeout across the board except for the Pick 5 which is quite low at 14%. Guess which bet i will be playing more of?

![]() Unfortunately, it is the only wager worth playing there - they have increased all of their horizontal wagers to an embarrassing 23.68% - you get a break if you play doubles, you're only on the hook for 22.68%. Friday nights are extremely popular here, and I have to admit, I'm going to be focusing on the P5 and not really even looking at the late P4 unless there is something that jumps off the page as exceptional value.

![]() The pick 5 is a great bet at the low takeout but I dont think Hollywood offers 50 cent pick 5 wagers like SA does. SA 50 cent pick 5 (14% takeout) is the best bet in racing IMO.

![]() Racing2Day offers 7%-15% rebates on all tracks it carries (no NY racing) Friday-Sunday on various wagers (win,tris,supers,p-3,p-4).
They change % amount and wager types from week to week and typically are 10% on tris and supers. |
