OBS April is by far and away the highest volume 2yo sale. Several hundred modestly bred types and yearlings who sold between four figures to mid-to-low five figures are on display. Easily the most important of the OBS sales to scout if you're looking for bet-backs.

Meanwhile, in Erie, the Undertack show for the auction at DrugS Dog Kennels INC is going on right now.

I drove by a pitbull and a beagel walking on a busy street yesterday night. I was hoping someone would pick them up -- but made a line in my head of...

West 38th Roadkill (-110)
Someone picks them up (Even)

I drive by again about five hours later (after 3AM) returning from the Casino and see them both -- still as a team -- walking down 38th street about a mile from where I first saw them.

I can't believe that no one ran them over or picked them up. They must have been smart enough to stay to the side of the road. My dog would have walked in the middle of the road so he could get a good look at traffic from both sides.

Here's Hip #1: A Perfectly groomed Pitbull puppy -- well mannered and handsome.

Hip #2: This timid old pro is a Beagel who barely has a pulse. He likes to hide behind stuff like a scared cat.

Hip #3: The biggest pain in the ass I've ever had to deal with ... he's half pitbull half delmation and all dope ... here is Arnoldson J. Arneault. Arnie was his slave name at the pound -- I've renamed him in honor of former Mountaineer Park CEO Ted Arneault. He was the guy who would always say "we'll leave the slots on for you" in those commericals.

They just got picked up by Anna Shelter.

Well, the first two anyway... Arnoldson J. Arneault (by far the worst behaved of the trio) is staying put with me to stand guard.
