For the first time in the series I feel like the Caps are the better team tonight. The Rangers are going to need Hank to steal this one.

they just put up the ot stats for both; a betting man would go with the caps off what they just said.

all i know is i have to get up at 5:30 so i hope this doesn't last too long! er, central time that is. you're worse off than i am!

Brian Boyle just came inches away from dying on the ice. Seriously, about 2 inches to his right and it would have been a disaster.

been some brutal blocks of shots. that was way too close. and him just getting over a concussion...not good. looks like it didn't catch just his face, but his shoulder too.

and i still remember when they didn't wear helmets-and let the old timers go without when they passed the rule. rod langway obviously was crazy.

Yeah, but the game wasn't nearly as fast and physical (not talking about fighting) and they didn't shoot the puck as hard as they do now.

Kind of feel like the Rangers got a reprieve here, the Caps had the game on their sticks twice already, only to miss the net and hit the post.

Curved sticks. Semin shoots notoriously high. Rangers are running out of players. Mcdonagh wasn't right after the hit, Hank takes out Girardi with a high stick...

I still don't understand if Torts doesn't trust Bickel, why not dress Eminger? They need Gaborik to show up here at some point.

Great game right now.

Between AO's post hit and the turnover in front of 30, it's a wild one.

I can't decide if neither team deserves to lose, or if neither deserves to win?

i'd choose the former, but someone has to lose. and a loss in a game like this sticks in your craw.
