Racehorses named after Celebrities
I have been watching the US Open and listening to the commentator/tennis great Chris Evert.
It reminded me of how great the filly Chris Evert (who ran in the 1970's) was as a racehorse. Have there been other racehorses who were named after celebrities that proved to be talented ??? |

Racehorses named after Celebrities
There were many, and I'm sure others on here will whip their names out right away.
One that comes immediately to mind is SHECKY GREENE. |

Oprah Winney. Oprah mentioned her on her show. Does Marino Marini count? He's a famous sculpter. There was a boxer a few years ago and I'm blanking on the name, but that was another one.
