Yeah, it was the best hit I ever had on one ticket (so far).

totally agree was a fun idea i never had the money to actually play it. was it in $2 combos only??? they should bring back the bet that links big races this spring into the national pick 4 or somehting like that i always thought that was kinda cool.

No, it was actually $1. I hit it with $162 (2x3x3x3x3) to bring back $4223. And had submitted the bet before going to church. Came back and checked the results - before going to dinner for a party as planned. Man, was I in a good mood! Told my grandfather and he was loving it.

Loved the Magna 5.
It was initially a $2 minimum, but lowered it to $1 after a few years.

It's ridiculous that there hasn't been any innovation around reinventing this in some way. I even liked the Sixty Minute Six they did a few summers ago when they did 6 races from Saratoga, Monmouth, Delware, Philly, etc...

I thought Hammer mentioned on Steve's show recently they were looking at new ideas for this, but obviously nothing has materialized yet.

Didn't they used to debut it this weekend (during the Sunshine Millions card)?

There should be more multi track wagers. It will force tracks to not have similar post times.

The last leg seemed like it was always a down the hill maiden race that killed me. I was live a few times getting there and always got busted out by a bomb.

It was a great deal of fun, and considering how much churn got generated in less than an hour, you would think the industry would be falling over itself trying to figure out a way to make something similar work.
