Default Cigar Mile

Not a bad field at all this time of year. Typically I complain about small fields but a small field in the Cigar is acceptable because of Discreet Car running. But when you can get a former BC Sprint winner (Silver Train) a 3rd place runner in the 06 BC Mile (Badge Of Silver) and then throw in Dixie Meister and Mantoloking and you have yourself a darn good field for this time of year.

Its a great race, no doubt.
These are good enough horses to end any debate about whether or not Discreet Cat can beat top horses.
I think he will do so.

I think he can win, and will win if DC doesnt. Hes had some tough luck and injuries. Off the grass and legged up. Two turns back to one. 2nd in the Cigar Mile two years ago to Lion Tamer while coming again to nose Pico Central out of 2nd.

I love the surface switch and 1 turn from two turn. I like him in this spot as well.

Badge of Silver? Win this race?

I prefered the Eddie Barker-name dropping thread.

BTW, anyone who was reading my posts saw that this was my first choice 6 weeks ago.

Boss-

These know nothings are going to try and make jest of the significance of your accomplishments. Thats fine. Youve dealt with this for years.

Hell, they wouldn't believe you anyway if you let these FOOLS know that you invented the shadow roll.

This deepthroatedwind guy is really sharp. He knows that BOS rreally stands for ...

I love Al Gore. He did get the most votes and should be sitting in the oval office right now. Imagine what else he did invent or would have invented. In addition, instead of eating turkey for Thanksgiving, we would be eating tree bark.
