Wife decided she wants to go to the Derby this year so I was busy studying the seating situation and waited too late to put my pick in. Didn't matter, he ran 4th. Derby situation looks bleak. Several hundred dollars just to sit on bleachers and uncovered ones at that, but I realize, it is the Derby. Probably worth it, I guess.

My nephew lives in Richmond KY and for years got 4 reserved seats for the derby...would ask me every year if i wanted to go but begged off, didn't want to fight the crowds just to say i had been to the derby.. I prefered the otb or puter and tv..He would call me from the track and ask who i liked..after a few years of laying stiffs on him he doesn't call anymore

Not sure which commercial it is, but there's one where the ladies say, "I'm worth it." Well, me too.

Definitely, been a struggle though, visiting all the sites that sell tickets and trying to figure out the best ones for us.

Samurai Assault in R8.

I had Mr. Bossy Pants yesterday but was given the chalk (off the board) as he had scratched.

Good luck everyone and come home safe, kids.

1. Rolling doubles disappear from the betting menu
2. Showvivor contest changed

SA is my "winter" go-to track but two of my favourite things have been altered...and not for the better
