New album out soon, Endless Forms Most Beautiful ~an Homage to Charles Darwin - "There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved.”

And a new single, Elan~

I posted this on here a few years ago. I know this is George's song and Clapton played it with him a bit as well, but this version is incredible. Prince may be a little ecentric for some, but there is no denying the guy is one talented SOB. He just shreds the f*ck outta this solo the last 3 minutes.

*Disclaimer--im a sucker for guitar solos.

One of the most underrated guitarists ever.

A Bucket List item for me is seeing Cowboy Mouth in New Orleans (Preferably at Tippitina's, but will take what I can get )

Come to find out I'm in New Orleans this weekend, which happens to be the weekend of the 102nd Louisiana Derby at the Fair Grounds, WHO just so happens to be having a Cowboy Mouth Concert on the infield after the card.
