Thumbs up Saratoga Contest will be Back!
That's right Derby Trail fans. For the sixth time after a one year hiatus I'm ready to again moderate the toughest horse racing contest in the world. 40 days of the best racing and you get 40 wagers to prove your greatness.

Details to follow but will be the same as before. You get 40 imaginary $20 bets to use over the entire meet. You can bet them any time at Saratoga.

And special news about some nice swag prizes to come. Stay tuned!

Thanks for bringing it back Spyder. Should be a great contest. Between that one and Delmar, I'll probably be studying past performances in my sleep. Some might say I do that all the time, contests or not.

Don't need to sign up, just follow the simple rules. Post your picks on the Wagering Thread and post your winners on the Results thread. I'll do a weekly wrap up.

Please keep track of your number of bets properly and winners properly. That makes my life easier. It use to take two hours a week to tabulate, now 30 minutes.

You can play when you want, even bet more than one horse in a race. I'll keep track of your winners and your ROI.

The winners are based on ROI not number of winners (too bad chalk eaters).

Steve has some nice prizes and my company does digital printing so looking at some nice looking, maybe even personalized swag.
