Default Saratoga Sunday Sept. 6

Finally have a chance to take a look at the card in advance. Very different with the races going at a time when normally Australia or HK would be running...

Race 2:
#7 Anthem Singer: SCR out of the Anna Rae race but back with two works since. Tiz Wonderful 2yo FTS is a key angle.
#1 Taleofsixtythree: Wasn't fully cranked on debut and turns up after her best work to date.
#4 Steve's Philly: Improvement to come after rocky debut.

Race 3:
#5 Power Nap: Asmussen got him back on track and a repeat of that crushes these.
#2 Here Comes Tommy: 1 for 27 and comes off a long layoff but excuses can be made for his poor races in the winter.
#6 Uncharted Course: Unknown on the surface but has speed.

Race 6:
#5 Inheritance: Big, strong type sold for $1.9mil. Liked her sales work more and more every time I played it back. No value but looks a good one.

Race 8:
Tough to see any surprises here...11-4-2 look much the best.

Race 9:
#8 Full Tap: Broke a step slow last out and with a cleaner start should be in better position, and I don't envision them flying early like they did last time.
#12 Slam Chowder: Didn't miss by much in turf bow and should be right there again.
#11 Maggiesfreuddnslip: Form isn't that bad if you ignore the dirt tries and it always pays to keep close tabs on Lerman's runners here.
#6 Kicken Livi: Not a great break in her last after running very well in her first two turf tries. Another than has a shot with a better beginning.

Race 10:
#8 Paid Up Subscriber: Thought this one had ability from her first go and has continued to improve with every start. That trend bodes well here.
#11 Promise Me Silver: Not sure what Smith was doing gunning her after a tardy start in the Acorn, and she didn't ever really appear comfortable pinned down to the inside last out. Freshened up and if her works are anything to judge then she's back and ready to roll.
#7 Bar of Gold: Looks to get first run again and 6f should suit better.
#10 Cavorting: Have to wonder if she'll bounce off such a big effort and even though she's won twice at 6f I think she might be better at slightly further.

Race 11:
#2 Broken Border: Won't see the 29-1 odds that I liked last out but she comes off the best last out performance and the winner of that race is my pick in a N1X to start the P4 sequence.
#8 Madison Blues: Ran a huge race routing on the turf at monster odds (same race as top pick) and returning to the surface will help her.
#13 Fourstar Crook
#3 Belief
#6 is my replacement if the AE doesn't get in.

$0.60 Late Pick Four

Race 8: 2, 4, 11
Race 9: 8, 11, 12
Race 10: 7, 8, 10, 11
Race 11: 2, 3, 8, 13 (add 6 if SCR)
$86.40

Good luck!
