Did you really rub that ample bottom you sit on with bacon grease? Was Barney in anyway jealous? Did Georgie watch or was he still trying to get through his bedtime book, "My Pet Goat"? Former (disgraced) Speaker of the House, Newt (contract for America) Gingrich and Condi (I'm clueless 2) Rice look to be a match made in...umm not heaven..the other place. Good that they found each other. Laura B will be happy that Condi won't be so lonely anymore. Condi was so depressed when she didn't get the football commissioner job. Newt is a different story. I won't bring up his past if you don't...SHHH! If only we could convince him to bathe more than once a month, he might be a bit more "attractive". Now with Pinochet gone, Pappy George H W Bush can breathe a sigh of relief. So, Pappy G H W B, though ridiculed by brat son and unappreciated for the "bail out" attempt by his buddies, can have solace in the fact that Robert Gates, who was also plenty involved (if you read the link), has assumed a new "position of power". Yup, Rob G...you're on top now. I hope there's some vasoline left in the jar after all that Ollie's been through. Maybe he can go to Rite Aide and buy some more before you meet up with Henry the K and Pappy B for the manage a trois that's upcumming. Geeze Louise, for such a "private guy", it seems that the "spotlight" just keeps finding him. Can't the press give him a "break"? Can't the Congress? Can't the courts when their time comes around? I've got to tell you, I love "reality" tv. Those girls sharing a house, Ozzie and his family, and those crazy people surviving on the island. Heck, Richard dancing around in his "all together" showed he really had nothing to hide.
This is REAL! So, today, I watched the "deer-in-the headlights" guy...you know the guy, the one that spends most of his time living in a big white house or on a ranch in Crawford, TX, while most of his grey matter is solidly locked in the "twilight zone". Seems that even he and his recently appointed Department of Defense chief, Robert Gates are coming to disagreement. It figures. Now even Abizaid is bailing, and the joint chiefs oppose his "direction", whatever that is. Is he divorced from "reality" or does it just seem that way? http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?p...myI&refer=home Sad to say, and I'll quote him, "I don't want those families to think that their sons and daughters died in vain." Reality check: they did. Sad to say, he doesn't even realize that he was voted off the island in November. The torch hasn't been passed, it's been snuffed. Let's all just stand around the big Christmas tree, sing a few songs, and wait for wifey to change her dress upstairs as three others wore the same red one. Now that's important! And just about as "real" as the "thinking" that he continues to "lead" with. Who IS the "radical"? Who IS the "extremist-tst-tst"? pass the popcorn, and let's all hope a big coconut falls on his head as he vacates the island in the middle of the "De Nile" river he's been living on. Maybe it will bring him back to his senses. Rod Serling, you couldn't have written a better "twilight zone" script.

Today's match was going to be Rosie and Donald, but that's getting to be old news already. Does anyone really like either of them?
Do we care? I didn't think so... So, then I got hungry and decided to make some breakfast before I started digging around the web for a real "match". I fired up the frying pan and mixed-up a batch of pancake batter. I had not eaten or had anything to drink for the prvious twelve hours...I swear! So, I geased up the pan and poured some batter in, waited for the bubbles, and did the flip. What appeared on the pancake? No, I wasn't hallucinating, it was Mother Mary riding a skateboard! Amazing! Needless to say, I couldn't eat it so I wrapped it up in gladwrap and put it in my freezer so I can auction it on e-bay. I poured more batter in the pan...it was smokin' by now. On the flip, and you won't believe this, there's Jesus riding a Harley Davidson. Amazing! That one went into the freezer too...e-bay on the way. By now I was a bit shook, thinking there were messages I should be paying attention to. I wasn't all that hungry anymore, and the batter had been used up. So I made a big pot of coffee. I'm guessing I was a little distracted when I poured some in my mug, and I spilled some on the counter. Next I took a paper towel to clean it up. Now this is getting "spooky". Before I toss the paper towel into the trash, I glanced at it. There he is, plain as day, Moses holding the stone tablets while riding Secretariat! He's 31 lengths ahead of everyone else! The paper towel is going to e-bay as well. If anybody reads this and wants to bid before I put up the miraculous signs, let me know. Reasonable offers only. Speaking of miraculous signs, my guess is that's what Georgie W is waiting for. Dang, he must be hallucinating. Go shopping, more troops (surge), and seems to be out of touch with all reality. At least the pancakes and the paper towel are real. pass the maple syrup and whatever Dubby's self-medicating with. That must be good stuff!

Today's match is Virginia Republican Represenative Virgil Goode and the Constitution of the United States of America.

Here's what it says: Amendment 1 - Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. Seems that the definition of "constitute" is to "make up". My guess that's what Virgil is doing...making it up. Does he realize that people that chose to follow the Islamic religion are allowed to do so? Maybe Virgil is taking the same substances as the Commander-in-Deceipt. Did he find GW's stash? Did he eat too many of the mushrooms that are sprouting all over the White House lawn? The least you can do, Virgil, when you sober up is read the document that you swore to defend and protect. I'll try to put up today's celeb match without mention of any tender "egos", cry babies, whiners or "tattle tails".
Today, our beloved, great, wonderful and confident President again reassured our troops that he appreciated their efforts for "defending our country". Last I heard, Iraq wasn't the United States of America. He thanked them for their "vital work" in achieving "victory" in Iraq. Seems that others have told him that "victory" as he defines it no longer is an option. Disregarding the Baker/Hamilton Iraq Study Group's recommendations, the voices of the Joint Chiefs, and the decision rendered by the voters within his own country in the November elections will not bring him closer to achieving the "victory" that he quests. Sure, he visited some wounded soldiers yeserday at Walter Reed on his way to his Christmas "vacation" at Camp David. He even gave out lots of purple hearts. This morning I was making a sausage to go along with the omlet I was hankering for. Though most folks have no desire to know what goes into making sausage, this one turned out looking like the profile of George W. The real one...George Washington...the one on the purple heart. Being as it's another omen, and too precious to ingest, it went into the freezer along with the pancakes and the paper towel. Ebay next. So, today's match is our beloved president and the soldiers that he visited, and those that will find him "victory". Like we've heard, "A country that can govern itself (checks and balances), sustain itself (without bankrupting our grandchildren), and defend itself (as we've certainly made more than enough enemies). Oh, are we talking about Iraq or the United States? Good luck! Whatever. pass the purple hearts along with all the arms and legs that resemble sausages.
