Default Rocky Ballboa

whos gonna watch the "final" Rocky movie? I will probably see it the first day it comes out, the PG rating does bother me a bit as it means it will probably lack a certain edge. But oh well its Rock!

Nothing will ever beat 1 and 2 however.

paulie was on the Sopranos, he played Bobby Bacala's father. It was a badass performance by Burt Young.

come on now, how old is that guy?! i mean, is this even believable at this point? there's acting, and then there's fantasyland.

i really shouldn't say anything anyway. i'm no fan of movies in general. i generally sit and scoff at them for the most part. except a good comedy.

it's why i pretty much refuse to go to a theatre. i am very good at keeping my mouth shut--unlike some. but i took my children to the last Lord of the Rings movie. i didn't think it would EVER END. i have a hard time sitting that long without something to DO. watching a movie IMO is not doing something. i finally asked my oldest 'when is this going to end?!' and then some bozo behind me saying 'oh, this is where the spider is' well before--thanks, ASS!

so i try to behave, the few times we ever go out. BUT....we went to kentucky, and one day it was raining so we go check out some shops, including a book store. so, new book later and hubby says let's go see a movie. ugh. the newest star wars had come out, not my idea of fun. the originals were ok, they came out when i was a kid (dating myself here!) and i don't mind them. but the new ones are hideous. i requested to be allowed to sit and read while they watched--no dice. so, fine, i go. i was very good. lol til the scene when whatshername says and i quote 'hold me like you did on naboo, when there was nothing but our love'. now, while some were saying aaaaaaaaaah i went HA!! and snickered before i could stop. HILAAAARIOUS! how she said it with a straight face i don't know! one of the worst movie lines EVER. i will never, ever forget it as long as i live.

lol,
yeah I only wish it would be the "final" rocky.
you know stallone will be out of work again in 2008 and try to come out with another one.

this is just sad.
he has not been on the mark with anything in a long time and I have no interest in seeing anything directed by this guy.
hes just not that interesting.

this movie had potential, had it moments. If the middle of the movie hadnt been rushed, and had a PG-13 rating this movie would of been critically acclaimed across the board. Seems like this was the only role for Stallone in which he could deliver a Academy Award performance, brought back the Rocky from 1,2

Well no wonder you don't like going to the movies if you're being dragged to the really long ones (LOTR) and the really bad ones (new Star Wars)!

Saw it yesterday, and yes, it's a very watchable movie. Whomever said Rocky IV was the best Rocky probably also thinks Return of the Jedi is the best Star Wars movie.
