I agree. It was fantastic coverage all weekend. You were so descriptive on the point totals, standings and the players selections as the race went off. It is so interesting to see who the point leader takes as we approach crunch time. I hope we reach the point when at least the final table will be broadcast. If we could see the selections of the players on the tv screen while showing the race, that would be great. Anyway, your live coverage made me feel like I was there! Thanks again for all the hard work! I was driving at 9am and was ready for some "best of" replay show. Was shocked you were live. I guess for you 4 hours of sleep is like "sleeping in"

Specifically tuned in to listen to the last three races at the final table. Some of the most interesting discussion to me included these two topics :

[1] Whether the leader should try to "block" the second place contender by trying to take away the most likely longshot/cap-horse ... and ...

[2] The fact that there was only five minutes between Golden Gate's eighth race and the Santa Anita tournament finale.

The strategies involved were intriguing.

Several of the photos from the scene show laptops fully engaged. How many of the participants, particularly at the final table, have Excel spreadsheets to allow them to model the "what-if" scenarios of competing players choosing specific horses? There seems to be as much psychology in those final few races as handicapping.

Great coverage. I had some streaming issues, but it cold have been me. Seemed to loop on me. I'm going back through the archives and listening to more as I go. That's a great thing, having it there. Can go back and re-listen to some interesting stuff.
