I had a lot riding on him with Last Judgment and later with Greatest Honour. I’d have to watch the Derby again to see that trip but didn’t notice anything during the race. The ride on Last Judgment was pretty bad. Ah well.

I think he sucks but what did he do wrong on Last Judgement?

I was referring to my performance at the windows. But Greatest Honor wants to be outside of hosses . I would assume he’ll be fully cranked up on Derby day.

I mean - maybe he couldn't help it since the 4 horse was pressing the pace but Last Judgment basically had very little chance of winning after that 46.43 opening half mile.

Haha. Well, same here. Rough day.

I didn't realize that Jose actually won three stakes today. Maybe his day wasn't so bad - just when I needed a win from him.

Yeah but that’s how he’s been successful. Going to the lead. The horse ran his race. He was just second best today. IMO at least.

I’d love to criticize him, because again, I think he sucks. But in this race I think he did what he was supposed to and was second best.

You're probably right but it's a lot easier to blame the jockey than myself for not handicapping the race correctly.

Fully cranked or not, the horse is SLOOOOOOW. And when you add in that he needs to be outside of horses, his prospects in a 20 horse field aren’t too good.

We should get a nice price on him when he picks them up and lays them down in the derby.

Hopefully the “we” isn’t the person that told you they scraped the rail at Gulfstream yesterday.
