Malibu Moon, the foundation sire of B. Wayne Hughes' Spendthrift Farm,
died suddenly May 18 in his paddock of an apparent heart attack.

The distinguished son of A.P. Indy was 24.

Great article with lots of background regarding his life. I'm heartbroken that he passed away. Yet, he was well taken care of and most importantly well loved.
