Saint Tapit (the Mandy Pope home bred o/o Havre de Grace) apparently scared off a number of potential entrants that were looking to prep for the Allen Jerkens here. Should be good..

Life Is Good could establish position early and wire; Blinkered Hot Rod Charlie could engage him early and go on or make them both vulnerable to the stalker/closers; Olympiad gets first run on the leader(s) and feels most likely before they spring the latch; Ground-saving Americanrevolution reprises his Albany romp from last summer getting the dream drip behind the front trio and runs by them all..

Excellent assembly with trips from Belmont Derby weighing heavily on players' approaches to this reshuffled deck. Classic Causeway should find the front end more crowded today with Main Event, Emmanuel and Royal Patronage all; interested in attending the pace. Favored Nations Pride, Annapolis and Stone Age feel very likely if trying to stay narrow. Yesterday, Wit ran 2nd in the HOF in his turf debut and don't be shocked if War Front dammed Ethereal Road (15-1) shows up similarly here..

Chad debuts a Bob Edwards home bred in Walk Em Down (Nyquist), Linda Rice gives Curlin's Wisdom (Curlin) another chance on the lawn, while Mott offers Sir John (Laoban) as a first 3yo, first Lasix, first time gelding. As always in these hyper-competitive events, use as many as you can afford and trust your 'capping instincts if you suspect a bomber..
