Even with all the accommodations for disabled people that are required, I imagine that it was pretty tough for his parents to take him places. I think that they must be some exceptional parents to see that he got to experience some things like the Breeders Cup.
Laura Hillenbrand certainly did a great job with her two best sellers, but I'm not sure whether she still writes much anymore which is too bad. She always leaves a person wanting more. Not that I am on top of the literary scene or anything, but haven't seen anything by her in quite a while. She reportedly has chronic fatigue syndrome which causes her to experience vertigo and has been homebound quite a bit. |

Sad but he's in a better place after leaving all of us, who love the sport and have a heart to connections like these, with fond memories we wont forget.
