Default NC vs Duke - and Louisville

Gotta love it. No matter what sport(s) you love, this is one of those games that you just gotta love no matter what. As much as I love Duke, mostly because of my Granny, my prediction is -

NC wins by at least 15. When the media stops making Greg Oden from Ohio State the second coming and they respect Tyler H will be a great, great day. What a player.

Go Louisville on another note. My second favorite team is game so far tonight.

I can't stand Duke Bball, nor can I stand NC Bball.

Toss-up of the century. I usually root for NC though.

Toss Up? No way, NC wins by 5 lengths under a hand ride after the loss to NC State. Should be ready for the kill.

I meant toss-up as in I don't care that much because I really can't stand either of them even a little bit. It's one of the big rivalries with two teams that I wish would both go 0-32 every year. I do give NC my vote though.

I like Duke very much tonight. Not a big fan of betting sports, especially games I have interest in watching. Kind of ruins it when you sweat out free throws at the end of the game, all for an even money bet.

I think both teams are very similar in ability and obviously the big edge goes to Duke in Cameron.

So far the 2 teams who played in last year's final seem to be separating themselves from the rest. Would not be shocked if we see a Florida - UCLA rematch in 7 weeks. They are both that good...again.

Both teams are even in ability. You have to have to be joking. The game was much closer then it should have been, but unc is leaps and bounds better then unc talent wise. Break down all 5 positions and decide on a neutral court who you want to run with. I come up with 4 unc players. They have a deeper bench, are more athletic, and are far less turnover prone.

I guess I was wrong and very glad I dont waste my time betting college basketball. I thought Duke looked very good in the first half, but they just cant close out games. NC bested them for sure but Duke surely blew their last 2 losses prior to this game with some really dumb last second decisions. They are better than their record indicates. NC is very good but I dont think they could touch the top 2 teams (Florida & UCLA). I think they get exposed in the NCAA tournament again, earlier than most people would predict.

gander it all depends on how the freshman guards play. IF they can bump it up a notch they can run with any team in the country. Duke has been overhyped all year. Scheyer has the best game of his life and its not enough. I'm not biased here as i'm a big ten fan, but duke is a shadow of what it was last year. I think though next year they will be better.

Oden is a monster. Dont look at the stats. I here this rumbling about Durant from Texas going 1st. No way can a team pass on Oden. His defense and rebounding are made for the pro game. He has a good touch around the basket also. I would hate to be the team that does not take him first, big mistake.

Durant has huge numbers but he plays no D and he is very slight. Tyler H. will be a useful pro but not in the same league as the aforementioned.

There is no way that Duke this year is on par with NC and for NC it will all come down to there ability to handle the ball under pressure with freshmen guard who happens to be very good and has played high level b-ball forever but you can never tell if the stage will ever get too big for him, and one other thing if for any reason Durant and Oden come out this year which is a very good possibility whoever takes Durant before Oden should have there head examined its not even close Durant does possess very good skills but he is not a center and he is not going to make any NBA team an instant success but Oden on the other hand can help a team like Boston make it to the playoffs and win a title in a few years. I can see some NBA team tanking it in the last few weeks just to have more ping pong balls in the hopper praying Oden leaves early. If someone were to take Durant in my opinion before Oden it would almost be like Sam Bowie being picked before MJ one of the worse draft day mistakes in history.

Neither team will be in the Final 4. Mark it down now, the ACC's glory days are over!

TB...so many good players you never had the pleasure of seeing. Ask some older people about Bernard King...wow...that brotha had the softest shot I have ever seen.
