Default Scottie Pippen considering comback

The 41 year old Pippen has stated that he would like to play for a contender for the last month or so of the season. I know Rodman tried a comeback several times but Pippen is far less the head case...wonder if he retains enough of his old skills to be of some value?

In Portland it seemed clear he had declined a lot from when he was in Houston.

In Houston, it seemed he had declined from when he was in Chicago.

I cannot imagine the 2+ years off could result in him being anything other than slower and otherwise declined.

Maybe he could give 2-3 decent minutes a couple times a game, but I doubt it.

I hope he doesn't need the money. Fairly well known that he has a pretty good appetite for poker and craps. Rumor is LA Lakers or Miami.

Yeah, he'd certainly be a limited minutes player...could bring something to a team but his physical condition would be the issue...he sure was slow toward the end of his career!

That would be crazy for anyone to sign him. There's 50 guys who got waived this year better than him right now. Maybe's he's been on steroids for awhile however preparing and is juiced up to play. Overlooked that angle!

41 year olds cant play the 2 or 3 which is what he would have to be. These are the most athletic positions on a team. Good luck, but if Scott wants to play, try City Rec League.

lol... add Dick Vitale. I used to drive a cab in Detroit in the early 80's. Dicky V. tried to tip me $0.15 on a $10 fare. Reggie Jackson tipped good. So did Alvin Lee.
