got this today...isn't that a touch fast for Palm Meadows? Thought the dirt there was a bit softer and slower....or am I mistaken. Hard to know what works to believe anymore.

Either way...looking forward to my girl having a great year.

very well could be right...but for some reason I thought Palm Meadows surface was deep and slow.

Looks like she is ready to go out kick some a$$. Also I never
seen Matz work a horse that fast in the morning or is it
just pure talent and she did it with ease.

Mike, that is why I thought it was strange as well. Matz working one that quick down there. EASILY could be a bad time or misprint....would love to find out. Either way....looking forward to her kicking ass soon. I got my Round Pond hat ready for when she does race.

GPK, I heard from a friend who was at PM all weekend and saw her work that she did it very easy. He said he did not have a watch, but he did know she moved over the track very easy and looked awesome.

This work kind of reminds me of the 1/2 mile 46.1 workout Matz
did with Barbaro did before the Derby and we saw the results of
that on workout Derby Day.

GPK, she's running this weekend in the Rampart, which is on Sunday. Grade2 1 1/8

thanks JD....always good to get info like that. She's obviously very talented. I like Matz alot...but I hated to see her taken away from Servis when he and Porter split up. Hard not to like a guy like JS.
