"Brilliant" ?'s on horse.....

Hey guys i was on espn board but that is totally derailed now. LIke the fact that you guys talk more horses here then b/s. I have a ? about the horse Brilliant. I really like this horse his breeding and seems to really like the turf was gonna unload on him in Jefferson Cup but not at 4/5. My ? is how far up do you think this horse can go? Can he get to Grade I's II's???? Let me know b/c he is a War Chant horse and I will always root for those b/c of the BC mile and also an FSU alum. Let me know what you all think how far can this horse go?

Well, I'm not sure how high he can go, but I can tell you I saw 1st hand his race in Jeff cup and he was AWESOME. No quit in him what so ever!

I think he is quit capable of competing in Grade I and Grade II races. But I think he prob only wants to go no further than 1 1/16 miles. He has nice acceleration and a good stride on turf. The turf divisions are really tough this year so I am not sure how good he will do. But I do like this horse and 4/5 on him was a steal.

Thanks guys, Euro i was just a little worried about his 1st step up into a little bit higher race. I just wonder what he will do when gets to bigger races i think he has talent and am hoping to get some decent odds on him..

Brilliant is very talented but dont expect to see him challenging Showing Up in the VA Derby on July 15 at Colonial. That race is 10F. Brilliant is probably more of a miler in my opinion. Kip Deville and Brilliant would make for an interesting race at 8F.
