GPK Delivers $6,000 Pick 4
This doesn't deserve to sit inside the daily action thread.. Everyone needs to see the headline... Kev O'Bey.. The Baron of Balmoral.. The Mayor of Maywood.. The Mountain Mogul.. But most of all THE TERROR OF TAMPA BAY, delivered a bargain P4 play ($45) today that brought back more than $6,200!!
It took the better part of the meet for this score, as opposed to last winter's more steady everyday performance, but it demonstrates the payoff in sticking with a meet and getting the experience and knowledge base to STRIKE LIKE THUNDERBALL!! Congrats to GPK on a brilliant Quad!!

Phil...I noticed that as well when watching the replay. I was stunned to see that horse go off at 25-1. A good steady set of drills leading to his debut...and was ML 10-1. It was a 25K maiden for pete's sake....not like he had to be a monster to beat that crew. Lynn Scace continues to send out well trained first timers. |
