Well that's a great start for the night

Hooves picks were on fire this weekend! I hit a nice exacta today using his pick at Gulfstream... I've got a little to play with tonight

Who do we like in the 5th?

Unfortunately, Bris does not provide PP's for Balmoral

But they do for Los Al, which is odd

I'm leaning towards something similar... EX 7/2,5,6

gonna be fitter 2nd off...may not get up for the win...but very usable underneath at a price.

Did you see the stats on the trainer of the 6 that just won? I think he's now won 4 out of 7 starts with one 3rd at the Mountain...

I did notice that Fog Light (#6) had a record of 4: 0-4-0 on an off track, you can now make that 5: 1-4-0 - not bad

Would be surprised if she won but am hopeful we can get a placing and a decent check to start out.

Paul, that was not a bad debut at all. It looked like she held on for fourth after showing some real interest. The TP shipper was fast and much the best.

She looks to have some real potential and I would guess that she will be visiting the winners circle in the not too distant future. speed gets it done at the mountain.

congrats, she looked good.

congrats, she looked good.

Ray thought she ran good. She was great in the saddling area before the race and looked great. She hesitated going in because Ray said the Assistant Starter did not know what he was doing. She broke okay and ran good. Like you said, nothing was going to get to the winner from Turfway Park. Ray said she ran a little green in the stretch and did not switch to her right lead until the 1/16 pole. She did tire at the end which was completely understandable. All in all not a bad effort. Would have liked to pick up that 3rd place check instead of fourth that nose was a little costly....
Would expect her to move forward off of that effort and i was pretty pleased overall.

Paul

I like Somebody New (#1) in the 8th. The weight break has to make him a decent play... Any thoughts on anyone to put under the #1 in the Ex or Tri??
