Do you think really they will give the TC to him by starting 4 or 5? Smarty had the fight of his life(besides his ride) against the vultures trying to pick him apart...ain't nothing free in this game. You maybe right but I just don't see it, 10+ in the gate. Who? Don't know, we have a month to find that out.

actually no, although it kind of looks like him...

he's a horse that is at the farm my girlfriend stables her horse, and every time I go there he gallops up to me and follows me around everywhere in the field... so this weekend I found out he was abandoned, so I've decided to adopt him, pay the board, etc. so he can stay there and have a nice life- I need to find a name for him!

did you catch the quote in the newspaper? caller: "Mike, I know you have a couple 2YO's" Mike: "I have SEVERAL horses"

It's good to be the king of your kingdom of one.

i don't even think he's a thoroughbred, doesn't have a lip tattoo... probably a QH/draft mix of some type... but he's the nicest guy and it would be criminal to let him go to "that place".

When Parcells was in New York with the Giants, Francessa acted like he had inside information worth listening to then Bill left town and Mike became Paulie without a Tony to tell him what day it is.

"Mickey it's clear that Borel is a different jock with the Twin Towers in the background.......What do you think about that huh, Mickey...."

"You imbecile Dawg there's no Twin Towers at Churchill.......that's pronounced the Twin Squires you moron....Your a waste of gravity you little creep Dawg..."

.....Taken from the Best of Mike and the Maddog".....

Bless you! I belong to a group has has a rescue fund and we've already saved three nice mares who were essentially abandoned, even though they had decent racerecords and bloodlines. Amazing how people can just toss them away without a twinge in their consciences.

And I have just finished an article about a rescue filly (broke her pelvis as a yearling, couldn't race) who has produced three stakes horses in her first 5 foals for the rescuer. Did you know that Snowball, the top jumper of the 1960s was a rescue? Owner/trainer got him out of the knacker's yard just in time; he was a mix of some kind, too, with a touch of draft blood in him.

Isn't that a great story? Please forgive me and you are close on his name, but it was Snowman.

There's already a Winston on the farm... a HUGE dark bay gelding who was a multiple G2 winner going long on turf. I like the name though!

He's got a very silvery coat, so I was thinking Silver _____?

You're welcome. If only I had a horse again...

He looks gorgeous and appreciative. I'll bet he's glad someone is taking care of him.

Wow, thats a very nice thing for you to do. I wish you and he a lot of happiness together, even grooming a horse has a way of making you feel so relaxed and happy. I wish there were more like you.
