Akon & his 14yr old on stage

I didn't think anything of this story because the 14 year old WAS in an 18 and over club. If anything blame the club.

BUT then I saw this video... I don't think I want to see Akon anymore. Why would someone have to do this at a concert? Whether the girl is of age or not. Now I am far from being a prude, but come on!

Buffy, This was not the only girl he did this too. It was a contest, this was just the worst one. This girl is now trying to file a suit on him for damages because she ended up at the doctors the next day all bruised and battered. I just fail to see what this added to his show. Because obviously when i go to concerts, i want the performers to dry hump people.

I just spit my coffee out....I have a 13 year old that looks like she's 18 and it is scary as hell....the scary part is girls don't understand....right now, I'm just the jerk with the rules and it drives me insane everyday all day....

hang in there samarta! i have a 17 year old that people mistake for a college-age kid....i'd like to tell you it gets easier, but i don't like to lie to people! hold your breath, cross your fingers, and hope for the best. and rules are good, kelly has to follow them-she resents it sometimes, but she also seems to understand....

It's too bad she was there. Really no good excuse. We were very strict with our daughter when she was a young teen and she would never have been at a concert without an adult at that age. What makes it more disturbing is that she very likely was "chosen" by Akon's people to be up at the front of the stage just for the purpose of being called up to "dance" with Akon. 14 yo's don't have the kind of $$ it takes to buy a front row seat at any show.
