Default Hey Bid...

I really hope you aren't going to blame poor coaching on the stellar 2 for 9 free throw performance in the 4th quarter!! This'll be a tough one to swallow if they end up losing it in OT.

I agree that Brown shouldn't have called that one. But the timeout that Gibson had to call on the out of bounds play was just as critical.

LeBron is playing his ass off.

Deep down I hope this doesn't end up like last year when they also won games 3,4,and 5 against the Pistons and all it got them was well...2 more losses!! (I still think it's the sign of a great coach to overcome a 2 for 9 free throw line performance in the 4th and still win!!) mortimer may just be a witness now I believe! So LeBron can actually play??

I was being a bit facetious here. It wasn't great is my take on it. I never claimed Brown was a perfect human being or coach. He makes many mistakes every game. My argument with Bid is that he does some nice things as a coach as well and he refuses to acknowledge anything he does.

I thought some of the offensive and defensive switches he made were good. Resting LeBron at the start of the fourth was a good move too. He also rested him in the second quarter when Detroit threatened to go on a run and open it up a little. After playing 48 minutes last game, Brown rested him just enough to have him able to finish the way he did. Even when LeBron went up to him in the fourth and asked to go in, Brown resisted. And again, the timeout Gibson took was just as important as the one Brown took.

When Doug Collins is calling your mistakes before you make them you are doing something wrong

Nobody but Lebron could overcome Browns moronic substitutions, timeout calls, and lack of game presence.

Like I said before, If Flip Saunders werent the second worst coach in the league the cavs would be in trouble. The adjustments Flip made, or lack there of trump the bogus timeouts and subbing by Brown.

I actually thought that Doug Collins was a good coach when he was back with the Bulls. He took them to the level they needed to get to in order to win a championship. Phil Jackson gets all the credit but I think Collins deserves more. Every team that becomes a winner has to go through a process. For the Bulls, these were their learning years. But in each of his seasons, he took them further than the year before, losing in the first round his first season, the semis his second and in the conference finals his third. Each time, they lost to the team that went on to represent the East in the championship. It was Boston in 1987 and Detroit in the next two years. Those were good teams that were beating them. It's the same thing Detroit had to do before they were ready to win championships. It's the same thing that Shaq Lakers had to do before they were ready to win. They all made yearly steps until they were ready. Then Fortunate Phil rides in and gets all the glory. I hate that guy.

You recall Det. inbounded right at their end with like 6 seconds to go...scored tied. Don't remember if it was end of reg. or the end of the 1st ot.

How would you like to see Billlips at the line shooting 3 only needing 1 to win?

Can you say BARF!! ?

Anyhooo........Snow was on him....Billips made a wise move for a 3 with the intention of drawing the foul.

Snow drew in and made a great body twisting move so as not to foul him.

It may be open to sliming, but I think any other Cleve. player gets suckered and fouls him.

I'm not taking away from the incredible games James had....but for all the bashing Snow gets I had to mention it. NO ONE....not even the "experts" has said one word about that.

Don't give me a hard time over this.

It was a good play in not fouling Billips after he got suckered into leaving his feet. Snow is specialist. Last 2 minute defender.
Though it is almost comical how everybody gets as far away as possible from him when he gets the ball. On both teams!

Oh God.

But the last part was quite amusing.

Snow is what he is.....and I agree there are pick and choose spots for him in a game........and so forth.

But you can say what you want......he didn't want Billips to get a free ( or three...if you wish) look shot and was ready for the foul draw move...which he avoided.

Oh don't give him any credit.

He only saved the game.

So he's only a Chosen .1

Brother.

What a myopic reply.

I'm sure that he knows that you love him so all the attention that the other guy is getting wont bother him.

Of course the Bid hates him as though he himself is paying the $6 mill the Cavs give him.

I would think that defensive play alone made him worth it.
