As a fan who grew up on the NASCAR of the early and mid 80's I cringe at the thought of what NASCAR has become. Just a small sample of my collective thought on Junior and some other issues...............................

Junior, your fan base has shrunk leaps and bounds by you selling yourself the way you have to Hendrick. Their are many die in the wool NASCAR fans in the South right now tossing back a Bud thinking, who will I cheer for now on Sundays. Those same fans are the ones who lived to hate one of your co workers. Sometimes I wonder what drives folks like you. Guess I know now.
You have alays come across as a regular blue collar guy who justr wanted to race but in my opinion you just sold your soul to the devil. Bottom line, your last name is what it is and you have to respect that and take that into consideration when making decisions such as this.

NASCAR is quickly going down the tubes. Tracks being built that are not prone for passing, Brian France trying to take it to another level that it was never designed to do, and the costs associated with going to a NASCAR race escalating at a rate that not far from now, excluding the obvious gas prices, will keep many blue collar fans home on Sundays.

Who wants to tune in every weekend and watch the same guys winning? See now, see the ratings........................................... ...............................

I lost a lot of respect for Junior, and I wish him nothing but the best but he lost a fan.

well all i can say is if you can't beat them join them. thats what jr did.
cause he is just an average driver. so by going to the best team in nascar he will have a lot better chance of winning races, and maybe getting lucky and be able to compete for a championship.

Hilarious comment from friend in Texas regarding Jr.'s move to Hendricks'

Me: Too many fish in that small pond

Him: I would not call those guys fish, they are like 3 mermaids and a shark

Very good point. They should just a turbin on Mr. Hendrick and change the name of the team to Godolphin...
