Thats where I usually go Cardus, right up the steps and find a quiet spot with a personal TV in view of Jumbotron

The Mohegan Sun Racebook is my home simulcast center. It is very well maintained and modern (you have the option to bet at your seat on a touch screen). They keep the place clean and there is no revolving door for mutuel clerks, so they are quite knowledgable. The whole Mohegan Sun Casino is very well run, or at least that is how it appears to me.

However, the location of the racebook in the casino leaves something to be desired. It is tucked away in the corner next to the bus station and the non-smoking section, and not near any "main" entrance. While I'm sure they could be successful in promoting NY's tracks as gaming destinations, I wonder if the horseplayer would be treated as they are now at Philly or Gulfstream.

I'm interested to see what their proposal is, but so far everything they touch has turned to gold. They certainly have a lot of money to put behind the effort.

Has anybody been to Pocono Downs since the Mohegans took over?
