It would come as no shocker of course if she scratches, but an interesting placement of DOWN. She did well on the Turf last out so I figured we'd be seeing her there. Nice filly.

Half the field is a sentimental pick for me

Have you seen Astor Park's races? They paid a pretty penny for her and have good luck with those types.

I like Down, but this placement seems a bit ambitious to me.

From DRF.com

There was some controversy at the post position draw for the Test. It was originally drawn with 12 runners as High Again was inadvertently left out of the field. The race was redrawn and some contenders drew significantly different posts.

Silver Knockers, a filly who has been saddled with an inside draw in four of six starts, originally had post 12. Now, she'll break from the rail, a post Nick Zito did not want.

"I'm not too happy about it," Zito said. "It's a Grade 1 race, I'd like to know how you could forget to a put the horse in."

Astor Park looks interesting. She will need to improve to win but improvement should be expected. Plus,Todd B. & Ramon D. are underrated, she has a good post for her running style,M/L @ 20/1 worth a small saver bet.

*snort* How very Keystone Cops. If Zito's frustrated I can only imagine how High Again's connections must've felt going 'uh, guys, you forgot somebody...'

It is hard to argue with Dream Rush here. She is a legitimate G1 horse who actually runs fast races, while a lot of the fillies in here simply have no business in a graded stakes race. Five of the starters here have never even reached a 90 BSF.......in their whole career.
And unlike several others in here (Cotton Blossom), I think 7f is probably Dream Rush's best distance.

I am sure Zito is frustrated....as is anybody that has been foolish enough to bet on any of his horses in graded stakes races recently. His record is just awful this year.

I think she will win it EXTREMELY easily. I mean her last four races have come in 5-horse fields and she managed to win exactly one of those.
Then in her last race she was a well-beaten third in a minor stakes race in which she was GETTING five pounds from the top two.
Sounds like a sure-fire G1-winner to me!

No need to dig at at attempt for a price. However, it won't be easy by any stretch, so I know what you're saying. I think she's okay in this spot believe it or not.

DREAM RUSH figures to get the most pace pressure she's ever seen, and could really be sandwiched between two horses into the turn. If she's a star, she overcomes. Otherwise, look out closers.

DEBBIE GOT EVEN was absolutely pace compromised in her most recent start. I'll forgive. If you also toss her poor races over the winter (off form, not her forte down in the south), she's a solid filly. At a huge price, she is okay to hit the board and even her underneath DREAM RUSH will be an okay exacta.

TIME'S MISTRESS has run races fast enough before too. The key in this race is whether or not you try and beat the favorite. If you do, the race is wide-open. 13 fillies going 7 furlongs - my instinct tells me to try and get a price home.

Here's my take on this race:

In a Dream Rush, Baron Thatcher with her Silver Knockers, got High Again with Appealing Zophie in Aston Park, then went Down on Boca Grande on her Cotton Blossom Sheets because Debbie Got Even with her Timely Mistress in AKRONism.

I'd love to hear Tom Durkin call this one!
