Default Soxfan takes a swing... 8/19

Big Papi hit a big slam yesterday to keep us five ahead of the Yankees.
Let's see if I can slam this card today.

Race 1 1 1/8 Mellon Turf
8- Universal - I think Chug tells Prado to send this one to the lead 2nd
2- Stage Dream- Working Well for 2nd Spa Start
7- Pure Fiction- Nice 2nd off layoff #'s. Could be the pacesetter
5- Ultimate Fan- Watch the Board the Ramsey's bet their horses.

Race 2- 7f 2 yr old fillies
6-Sabooh-Working well for 1st trip over Spa Winner - 16.80
5-Forest Trail- Lugged in at 5 1/2 furlongs
7-Sentbale-May be overlooked here
3-Canary Yellow- Tough Trip over turf

Race 3-1 1/16 Mellon Turf

5-Lumen- Very Positive Works for Kent/Mott
1-Pletcher Entry

Race 4- 6 1/2 F
2-Grand Alibi- Comes in from CD after freshening. 2 bullets for this
7-Grand Champion- Likely favorite who has always been in the $ Winner - 3.80
3- Scratched

Pick-4 2 on Top, 2 2nd Choices......5,200.

Race 6- 1 1/8 Inner Turf
4-Kill Devil Rum[b]-[b]Best Value Play-I picked this one Opening Day. He had
a bad trip. If Dominguez can get this one on or near the lead

Once again....I can pick them but I play them wrong.

Liked Sabooth in the 2nd, but only made a small flat bet after using her underneath the 7 & 5.

In the third I used Pulla Fast One under triples and exactas and had a small win bet on him.

The real bad news is I didn't play the pick-3 or pick-4!!!!!!

Thanks Hooves, but you know I'm kicking myself for not having either the Pick-3 or 4. It's just I've been burned so many times. Can you believe a
$16 Pick-4 Play would have returned me $2600. Gotta love this game.
Good Luck the rest of the day.
