delighted he won today, Fortune gave him a great ride... Now just dont go for the Leger.. He's a proper horse over 10-12f and as we've said before, will be much better next year..

Must admit, he was almost the first horse i crossed out from the race. I was convinced he didn't stay twelve furlongs, especially on softish ground. As you say though, it was a great ride from Fortune. I'd love to see him win the jockeys title sometime soon.

Yes, i hope they don't go for the Leger. I still think he will be much better over ten furlongs, so he can sit handy to the pace. I think he will be some tool over that trip.

Regarding Mahler, i wasn't too disappointed with that. I had a feeling twelve furlongs at York might be a bit sharp for him. He tried to make all but the others had too much pace. Still wouldn't put me off backing him for the Ledger.
