Default TVG - No gamblers work there

So they show an early pick four ticket on air for RACE 2 and now they have the moniker showing PICK FOUR STARS NOW!!

I mean seriously, not only is it unprofessional, but it is proving to people that they are not playing these tickets. Just plain retarded. They keep on talking.

This guy that Mike Valfredo or whatever, is completely CLUELESS. How he got a job there is beyond me. Why can't these companies hire people that actually like this game. There are plenty of people that would leave their jobs in a second to do the work that Ken Rudolph does, or this clown Valfredo

Oh, 3MTP they just caught it. f'n morans

The "on-air talent" there isn't up to par with the quality of HRTV.

While they did steal Christine Oliveras (sp?) away from HRTV, and she does a good job for a pretty face, they should have made a play for some of the real exceptional talent that is on that rival station.

It is just hilarious because you just have to know that they are people out there that are following their tickets and playing them. I honestly have never seen Schrup hit a ticket, never....I am guessing he has when I wasn't watching but seriously, the guy is just not a good handicapper

They should also replace their cameras with the ones on HRTV that produce footage so grainy you can't see anything other than a bunch of brown blobs with bright colors on their back moving around the track.

STARTS or STARS? Maybe they are Pick Four Stars.

Were you watching on that Friday Night at Hollywood last year when Schrup was alive in the pik-4 to something like 8 of 10 runners in the last? They were making a big deal out of it on-air. Then they put his selections up on the screen. In less than a second, Frank Lyons says somthing like "You didn't put the 6 in there? You took 8 horses and left the 6 out?" Schrup came up with some goofy answer. Guess who wins the race? It was great television. Emmy worthy actually.

I think I've brought this up before, but what people forget about was Ken rudoplh's former job on the Best Damn Sports Show Period! on FSN. It was the very first year or so that the show aired, he did the "Daily-Nightly sports report". It was kinda a SNL Weekend Update rip-off, where he'd do some stupid jokes about athletes in the news. But there were some hilarious ones in there too. But when he did that, I just assumed he was just some comedian with a steady gig, not ant actual "journalist". Interesting.

Yes I was and it was great TV. While I never cheer someone to lose, it was just priceless. My guess is that he didn't even play the ticket

Who?They all suck too,and some are worse! They should just get rid of 'em all and play music between races!

Kurt Hoover, John White, and Jeff Siegel are as good as it gets.

Laffit Jr. does a decent job as well.

Nothing was as good as the old TRN a few years ago. High production quality, 5-6 channels and on air people just kept up with the scratches. Hard to match TRN.

I listen to a radio show out of Las Vegas on the weekends called Vegas Track Talk. It's "the show that dares to keep score". Both featured handicappers are in the black for 2007. Can you imagine if TVG kept score? I have no respect whatsoever for the touting without keeping score. In my opinion you have no credibility if you don't keep records. I appreciate HRTV not following TVG in the touting of tickets.

I don't think I've ever seen any of their multi race "picks" ever pan out..Any of them...I've learned to completely discount anything Schrup or Ruldoulf think, and the others are still complete airbags....I literally cringe if they like I horse I've bet...

Mr. B hit a 10k Pick 6 a few years ago. I think it was a monster carryover at Hollywood and all of the chalks won.

Still...he hit it and in my book he's an excellent chalk capper and his clockers can confirm that.

I like what you say about not cheering someone to lose. I don't either in that context. In fact, I recall thinking he was a winner until the eighth pole and just laughing that it was Lyons' horse going past for the win.
