Default Have TVG folks been ripping Steven Crist?

There was comment in response to his blog today about how TVG on-air "talent" has been ripping Crist for his 5k Pick 6 failing on BC day. I watch very little TVG, by design, so I was wondering if any of you have heard that. If it's true I'd love to know who made the most remarks.

Let them know about the WinTicket players pool P6 that missed. They would have a heyday with that one...

Let them know what a tremendous job they do with THEIR pick 4 plays and to keep the money in their pockets. I'm yet to see them post a winning ticket worth more than $100 for a buck.

A few weeks ago Shrupp, the smug prick, posted his 50 or less pick 4 and then conveniently showed the viewing audience what he really played...it was $400+. Hit two out of four in the sequence. I really wish he'd go away.

That's hilarious and very typical of him. On-track he posted a big Pick 5 ticket on BC day. I want to say over $300. He singled Jump On In in the 2nd leg and she was something like 20-1 and was nowhere to be found. Typical.

If this is the case, I would look at where the "ripping" is coming from. I wouldn't take it with a grain of salt -- I'd take it with a ton of salt.

I wish i had 1/2 the success that Christ' has had with the Pick 6. Didnt some internet group play some 74k pick 6 on BC and fail to hit it?

I heard Mr. B say that they get a lot of people telling them that they should play multiple tickets on the TVG SHOWS.He said it would be a bit confusing for the viewers, but he wasn't against multiple tickets.I think too much is made of betting strategies. It usually is just an excuse to bet a lot.Take for instance the late p4 on Sunday(Oak Tree.)The horses in the 1st and 4th legs are not easy to get (even if you go 4 deep.)The horse in the last would be my 4th horse, but the Sadler horse(in the 1st leg) really shouldn't be beating those horses. There are a couple guys that just can't get it done (even if with the quickest horses in the race.) Headley's boy should have retired 3 or 4 years ago.It sounds easy(betting strategies) but really it is always gunna come down to using a slow horse as one of your contenders. It is not easy to do that(no matter your strategy.)

I can't speak for Jesus, but Steve Crist certainly has my respect ( at the windows.....and elsewhere ).

Hell, let him stay around, a free $400 in the pool. The Schrup guarantee it should be called. $400 into a pick four ticket is just ridiculous on a normal day. A day like the BC, I can see the argument, but a normal day, it is stupid, one heavy chalk and you are breaking even.

Even ol/ Dylan couldnt overcome that Arc jinx. He looked dead a 1/4 into the race. Didnt the Brisbet gang hit it at CD?

Not close. They were live after three legs but I don't think they used any of the final three winners.

Very true. Thing is, I don't know that the TVG guys are even breaking even. I really want to look at their picks for a week, and just see how bad they are. Might be a project in the near future...

Yo, I think they did hit it once, but it was out West somewhere.

I think Alan was talking about in general if they had hit one

They never hit, if I had the energy, I would compete against them for a whole meet on their $50 budget, but I can see that being REALLY frustrating.

Matter of fact, I am going to do it, THE LATE P4, I will post a $50 DAILY and try to compete against them for the Hollywood Meet.

I think the budgets are kinda of questionable. $50 is a hard number to get to in a 4 leg sequence. I would bump up the Pick Four to $60 and the Pick Six to $160 if I was TVG.
