I think that Terri is very good. I have one of her watercolors and have commissioned a second.

Here's the one I'd like to own someday.....

It's called 'Powerscourt After the 2004 Arlington Million".

I hope you're kidding.
Didn't you try to hype this "artist" a while ago?
Give up.
Saying that Terri is very good doesn't make it so.
Very many are better.
Give it a rest.

The Powerscourt picture is indeed nice. I love kiddy art.
If we're talking equine artists, I'll go with Clark, Reeves, and Werner Wench (he lives up the road from me).
I'll have to post some of my latest oils and egg temperas also.
The files are just too big.
Good luck if anyone invests in Terri.

I love watercolor. But DTS you and I agree. Those are just not that good.
I dont want to say bad. But those are not good. Im sorry, no offense, but I would not buy those. To each his own I guess.

I really do like watercolor done well. That is not what I would call watercolor done well. It is such a beautiful medium, but it is not easy to do well imo.

Oh jeez. The acrylic is worse. Im sorry, I will stop. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But some beholder's have cataracts. Enough of my distasteful banter.

Ahhh much better for me. Much. Very nice style. Notice the limited use of color that really brings out the beauty of the color she does put down. Having some white space makes water color really come out. Much better.

up close her work is really incredible...I have 'drums on the mesa' hanging in my house...just one of the prints but the detail is still amazing

There is more to art than color... I like her art, but am not very impressed with the actual conformation of the horses. I prefer something more realistic.

I love her work. The detail in her work is extraordinary. These pictures on the internet don't do the actual paintings justice.

You can click on the Smarty Jones picture at the bottom of the second page, and it will take you to more of her paintings. You can order T-shirts, prints, and many other things of some of these paintings. I have a Barbaro painting and a Barbaro T-shirt. I plan on ordering more. There are probably some on ebay right now or you can contact her. She has also done paintings for owners. I know that she did one of Singletary with a football palyer in the background.

My favorites are Funny Cide, both Barbaros, Cigar, and Lost in the Fog to name a few.

It seems to me as if she is getting better...IMO her newest paintings...Barbaro, Funny Cide, Phar Lap, Cigar, Lost in the Fog, head shot of Smarty Jones on the first page... are more detailed and realistic.

And yes, I have mentioned her before...LOL

Cajun,
If you like Smarty, have a look at Robert Clark's version...
Also, a Point Given for GPK.
