Looks like they are chasing yet another casino vote this year in Ohio, although this time without racing being involved at all. With the 25 million that the tracks invested in 2006 to get the tracks the slots, I don't know that this will pass on a much more limited budget. I really hope that this doesn't pass... |

![]() For Ohio horsemen, this is a bad situation that is getting worse.
Why set up the only casino in the middle of the state? Setting it up on the borders would attract more out-of-state revenue. |

Trust me on this, there's alot of under the table deals going on with this (also exactly what land's still available to a couple of the OH tribes, since these will technically be under their control). If this passes, also look for 2-3 other casinos to be put in (Sandusky's one, forget exactly where on the others).... but with where they will be located, everyone in the state of Ohio will be within a one hour drive to them. This location's ahead of the game (already listed as tribal land) and being used as a test before the land's bought and designated as tribal land for the other locations. |
