Default First day of Spring.....WHERE!

Currently, in the Mohawk Valley...32 degrees with a wind chill feels like 22. Four 150 gallon orders of heating oil so far the winter, with a price that would be near a Gulfstream Park pick 6 carryover. IS THERE NO END IN SIGHT! The furance in this house runs from mid October until the end of April....the first Saturday in May, IT GETS TURNED OFF!!!! The wind is howling outside and it's dark until after 7pm. THIS SUCKS! Must be global warming or those "towel heads" in the desert & Dubya robbing us blind! Sorry for the rant, but I'm.....

SICK OF WINTER, EVEN THOUGH...IT'S SPRING!

You guys down south are lucky!

Twenty years ago, every spring, I'd drive from Chicago to Kentucky the second weekend of March. There were always mockingbirds singing. Dogwoods were blooming. The grass was green. Foals leaping about the fields. Even when there was snow on the ground, it would be melted by afternoon.

Was it the PMS comment that started the thread censoring?

Don't worry. I have no intentions of wearing tights and rasslin' the huge 'mo.
