Default Final Fractions & other Derby Data on C-J site

I heard the Louisville paper's racing writer on ATR today talking about the final fractions from last weekend's Derby preps. Looks like all of that has been updated at www.cjderbydatatrack.com. They have a bunch of new BRIS numbers in now, too, like the late pace figs. Pretty interesting to do the side-by-side comparisons with two horses.

Outstanding site!! I was working through this manually to see how the pace figs, particularly the late ones- for the winners looked in their preps.

It's pretty cool. Seems to be updated every week. There are really detailed definitions of all the factors when you mouse over them, too.

I agree with Thunder Gulch, whose response I had not seen until after I clicked on and looked at the site-I bookmarked it immediately for future reference this month

One thought on the Bris Late Pace Last Race figures: synthetic track Derby prep races will(and have) produced higher figures than the dirt races and cannot be counted on

The Beyer fig of 105 as a 3 yo par reached before the Derby, I'm positive, should be limited to route races only(thus throwing out Bob Black Jack's fig of 109)

There was a weekly write up a while back that addressed the sprint/route speed figs and noted that PPs should be used with this stuff to distinguish. I guess you can just leave out that factor when selecting your own data. Not sure what you're looking at with Smooth Air. The Beyer I see is 98.
