Who does everyone have winning the Cup. I like my Wing's chances because none of the so-called experts are picking them to win.

Rooting for the Broadway Blueshirts, but I think the Habs win it all.

East Finals: Montreal over Washington
West Finals: San Jose over Detroit

Stanley Cup Finals: Montreal over San Jose

Price, the rookie goalie, wins the Conn Smythe.

The parade, as they used to say back in the late 70's, will "take the usual route."

The Devils actually outplayed them in Game 1. The Rangers gave the puck away the whole game, but the Devs couldn't finish. They hit the post about 4 times and Lundquist stood on his head the whole game. Then Broduer gave the Rangers the game on a platter with that awful gaffe.

informal contest picks
Eastern Conf. Finals- Habs over Rangers (I hope I am wrong about this one)
Western Conf. Finals-Sharks over Ducks
Stanley Cup- Habs over Sharks

I can see it both ways. Don't get me wrong, I like NJ. I am a season ticket holder from day one (Club Member and all). It's not like I don't like them, LOL. I heard the iron each and every time so it's not that I think they weren't in the game, it's more so that I think they gave up on the puck numerous times, didn't follow through with their floor checking, and regardless of the goals not coming, they were still erratic. You just cannot outplay the opponent and not win games -- not on a regular basis and not in playoff hockey. We're talking about a team where winning the division is a given, the Conference is common and should be a Cup contender every year. You also can't play strong hockey for 40 minutes. Then, it's always a "hang on" situation.

I have zero problem with Marty and no problem with the mistake. He'll go down as one of the greats. I hope he sticks around until the end. But there is zero impact players this year. I think Rupp has stepped it up but the impact is not there. Same for Clarksson. People used to critisize the neutral zone trap, or the three man high style of play, and that their style of play isn't "sexy". Bring home the Cup and forget about sexy, LOL. Like I've said, it's easy to critisize from the stands, LOL. Lou will go down as well as one of the all time greats.

No different than closing game of the year at the Rock -- NJ was 0 and 7 against NY and that game should not have gone to the shootout. They played very well the first period, seemed to be indifferent the second, and looked to hang on the third.

I have tickets for Saturday night, I can't wait. They are my pick to win everything as well, and I am Devils fan. The Habs look really really good.

ok..I'll bite? Probably not a Sutter or that mad Russian they had either. Their GM, Dale Tallon is a great golfer, but I don't think he ever coached..so??
