Indeed, but how many of these don't?

You'd probably have just enough fingers on your hand to count them.

So how many others toss Pyro because he is headed
down? Reached his peak, heading South?

i usually have a fairly good idea by now who i'm starting to lean towards. this year? pffft.

if eight belles runs, i'll root for her. it's the whole girl vs the boys thing there tho, not necessarily because i think she's got the best shot.

Picking the horse most likely to win this year is easy, IMO. It's Big Brown. Anyone disagree with that? I'd gladly take Big Brown in a head-to-head (win only) matchup against any other horse.

Finding a horse to bet on is another story. I doubt Big Brown's Derby odds will be attractive. TheGreek has him at 3.05-1 in a future right now. If you factor in the chance he doesn't even make the starting gate, it's about like getting 5-2 on Derby Day. Not enough, IMO.

I agree with that. If he runs like he has its his race hands down. You can't say that about any other horse.

I agree, as well. Based strictly on talent, I'd take him over any other horse in the field.
The problem is not only getting fair odds, but the much-talked about lack of experience and conditioning.
Maybe the rest of this crop is so lackluster that Big Brown will be able to overcome it?

[quote=hoovesupsideyourhead]visonaire matz.. got something out of the blue grass was torpedoed in the first turn..then closed strong

smooth air stuts

runs well every time, getting some long works into em going into the derby

colonel john best of cali and good enough to get in the money

adriano prado had choice and took this one who had trouble in fla derby "lost shoe"

court vision closes with some intrest in last few

my first thoughts were to key big brown then toss him out......now with the goofy draw ill just mix him in the 3/4 spots my main contenders are here and i will box them

8,4,12,10,15... with big brown 20 mixed under.......

Why does he love the Church surface? He's slower than both Cool Coal Man and Anak Nakal on it.
