Default 4/19: KEE (Lex/P4); PIM (Tesio)

Fifty cent option might have been the right approach to Friday's P4 at Keeneland. Came away feeling like I had right idea trying to spread in 2nd and 4th legs, but budget kept 'Best Value' feature winner Carriage Trail (9-1) and nightcap logical inclusion William Tell (5-1) off the play. Fun, tough sequence brought back close to $700 on the .50 version alone. Hope I was able to at least get some of you to include Carriage Trail if you hadn't looked at her. Though the slow pace and Panty Raid's dull as dirt return were key, the fact that Shug ran back with her in <10 days was telling... He's only done that 5 times in the last 3 years. He's now 2 for 6 with 3 ITM hits turning around quick. Hope you did well!

Icabod was 9-5, I pre-bet hours ahead so won a pittance. Also had Powerful Touch for $8.80 in the prior race( J McKay)

Trust me

Same here with Icabad. Bet before I ran out. Saw $5.80 and did a double take...

Live in KEE pk4 with steves play. Played buck to 11 because NYRA doesn't have $.50. Definitely hurt if 12 wins finale...

Willpays anyone?

Good Luck!!!

Thx.. About as good a day as was possible. Very pleased to have deciphered the Lex... Must have been easier than it looked on paper.

Downside was P4 was there to be had, and was sorry that Ichabad Crane couldn't stay over $10.00...

Other than actually placing bets for people, I'm not sure what else I could have done today.

F.uck the 992's. They're nice and all but for 20 bucks more I can have better.

I'd say the post was the reason why he was scratched.

I,

That's great. Congrats.. and it's my pleasure. The cards at KEE have been challenging, a lot of fun and even with the kooky poly, very playable.

Not sure if the feature was a spot you hit, but I thought the Blue Grass result made the Lexington particularly approachable. And was shocked that Tomcito was bet in this spot when he and Atoned were total play-againsts.

You're like me...I dont mind paying a little more for better quality.

Just hope for a better draw next out. Price should still be there.

Stan,

Thx! Glad you scored, and I do feel that I'm 'handling poly' better. About to post late P4 today which looks interesting.

G/L today!
