I've had enough of this ****. I am gunna make a ...."we are warriors strapping it on for war"...."you be in our way"...."we got to run over ya ass"....Hip Hop/Rap Battle Song. It wouldn't do any good though unless Furcal is there healthy, and ready to focus them. If he comes back healthy, then I will send it this year. If not, then the start of next season. You can't get 8 runs in one night, and then get no runs the next night. This is just not a team that "gets it" as far as competing for one piece of meat each night. That's the way the Cubs are competing. Each night, there's one piece of meat up for grabs, and if they want it bad enough, then they end up with it....Anybody who wants to hear the 1st fifteen seconds of it can give me their email in a private message.

I dont think they have enough power and if Penny doesnt turn it around they dont have a number one starter which probably means they will fall short this year but they have a lot of talent .
Where are the pitchers???????? You can buy some, but you have to produce some from your farms to compete. You may see stars, but I see a .500 ball club, same as the year before.

Other than Broxton being a woman in every other appearance, the pitching has been good enough. They just do not hit well. Look at Kemp striking out 5 times since he had a good night on Monday. **** got to stop.

Billingsley (23), kershaw(20), Broxton(23), Kuo(26)...

No offense but I dont think you know what you are watching. All, except La Roche who has been injured, the guys I mentioned before have seen big league action this year and many are starters. All except Ethier and Kuo are 24 or under. You implied that their farm system was somehow inept or not producing which is absolutely incorrect. The pitchers that have fell through this year namely Penny and Lowe arent products of the farm system. They have some holes that need to be fixed but in 2 or 3 years when these guys are reaching their prime several may be all stars.

since 1996 the Dodgers have won 92, 88, 83, 77, 86, 86, 92, 85, 93, 71, 88, 82. The reason that they have not been able to get over the hump is poor decisions by the front office on Free Agents to supplement the farm system. The recent signings of Juan Pierre, Jason Schmidt and Andruw Jones are perfect examples. They have made a few good moves like Kent but they have screwed up way more than they havent. Hell i dont even like the Dodgers but you cant say they dont do a good job finding and developing talent. If they can rid themselves of Jones, Pierre, and the rest of the deadwood they are positioned be a force for the next few years.

I don't think it's easy to predict what free agents are gunna do for you. What I do think is easy to do is to determine what free agents are worth. For instance, the signing of Schmidt was poor value (decaying , and Frisco new it.) Garciaparra was so hurt he couldn't help the team at all in the 2006 playoffs. So, why would you think the next 2 years would be better? ( as far as his injuries go.) So, I couldn't believe they gave him 10 mil a year for each of the the next 2 years. That was predictably gunna be pissin' money away. Andruw J was showing definite signs of decaying skills, but they gave him a mint. This is not an organization that has any luck getting free agents to hit home runs. You can wonder all day long why that happens, but it does. Pierre is simply non-impactful, but gets 9-10 mil a year for being non-impactful. Then, you have some very bad luck mixed in. That would be the injuries last year( and this year right now) to Furcal. When he is healthy, that's a really good player, and more importantly, a team player. Maybe those injuries were predictable as well. I don't know, but I do think he is the only one worth the money he gets paid. Kent has been a band-aid the whole time. Not the worst signing, but not really a "winning" type signing. His skills were decaying (Houston could see it, and this organization evidently thought they knew better...ha,ha!) I think the "kids" have either got minor league skills(Kemp, Loney,) or aren't strong enough mentally to take advantage of their hi-end skills(Billingsley, Broxton.) Ethier, Martin, and Kuo are probably the 3 that have the talent to play at the level, and they aren't stand-outs(just good players.) If Ethier and Martin were stand-outs, then the Dodgers wouldn't be scoring 1 run a game. Then, you throw in that fact that there is so much free horny ***** here, and you have a lot of distraction. What Dodger youngin' hasn't ALYSSA MILANO given it up to? If they ain't doing her together, then they are doing her a couple hours apart.
