I have Anak Nakal keyed in almost everything I played. Probably a big mistake but I think he has a good chance to hit this board and run better than his odds.

I tell you, today is just the reason why, I don't even know how to describe it.

May 3rd I unloaded on Ventura and played against Big Brown every possible way, and then today, Ventura wins easy (granted getting an easy trip) and Big Brown has an off day.....blah blah....

You get knocked down,

They're never gonna keep you down...

$200

Played this ticket with a friend, hoping to change recent luck by posting ticket

I did, but the idiotic thing is the only other horse I used was the third finisher, at 40:1, and I didn't bet tris.

My fault.

I really screwed that race up. Played tris 5,10 w/ 4,5,10 with several horses including the 2.

Betting horses like Vitruvious is dangerous to your bankroll.

You can't say I didn't warn you.

Vitruvious is a horse that people pick because two years ago they thought he was going to be very good.

There is a serious reason he has made three starts in two years. These kinds of horses almost never win and never justify their odds.

On an unrelated note.....there was a party for Casino Drive at Nobu tonight, where coincidentally I happened to be eating ( along with A Rod....who is one big dude up close ). You would have laughed to see me talking to some of the people who were there....that spoke no English.

The funny thing is that I've always been anti-Vitruvius. The only horse I really loved all day was Zaftig and didn't make a dime on her. Just singled her in the PK4.

Nobu on a Saturday night? What a life. . .

Same with me. I singled her in the Pick-4....and didn't have another winner on the ticket.

She's a very nice horse. The Mother Goose could be a scorcher.

It was probably funnier seeing you hold back a smile/your opinion when Siegal picked Stalingrad. The smirk was priceless

Not at all.

He has a great opinion. Who am I to laugh at his picks? I pick plenty of losers and bad horses.

Plus, it's not like he follows NY like I do. I'm sure if I showed up at Del Mar I would pick plenty of bad horses that he would know were bad bets.

I am not dissing him per say, while he is new to me since I have only had HRTV for one full month, his handicapping and reasoning are solid, and I have learned from him already. Maybe I manufacturered the smirk in my mind knowing what you thought about Stalingrad and then hearing him pick the horse.

I'm used to people I do shows with picking horses I hate. I'm also used to seeing them be right.

I had forgotten he picked him until you mentioned it.

I did hate Stalingrad....but I hated Dancing Forever as well.
